The National Rural Education Advocacy Consortium (NREAC) is a group of over 20 states who have formed together a coalition in order to advocate for small and rural schools issues in Washington, DC. Indiana Small and Rural Schools Association is a member of the NREAC.
In order to accomplish this, we have partnered with three highly effective lobbyists who help keep the ISRSA up to date on issues of interest in the US Congress and US Senate as well as activities of interest in the US Department of Education, US Department of Agriculture, Federal Communications Commission, and other departments and organizations in Washington, DC.
In 2017, our lobbyists are:
Noelle Ellerson
Sasha Puldelski
Leslie Finnan
These ladies work on behalf of the NREAC and are also members of the advocacy team for the American Association of School Administrators (AASA).
In April, 2017, the NREAC member-states met to form our 2017 Federal Legislative Agenda.
